“This was a brilliant release at the time. Basically three albums with one coming from Rae Sremmurd, one from Swae Lee and one from Slim Jxmmi. What I would say is that the two single albums from the brothers don’t compare to them working together. Swae Lee’s sweet vocals paired with Slim Jxmmi’s more harder rapping goes so well together and is what they’re known for. Still a great album with a good selection of songs to pick from. Again this album takes you back to the vine era and the nostalgia instantly hits you when you hear some of the songs. Rap wise it’s not complex at all but the delivery from Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi and the production really make the album what it is. “I feel this album doesn’t hit the same as the first ‘SremmLife’ however it still has massive hits on it, mainly the 2016 megahit ‘Black Beatles’ featuring Gucci Mane, which was easily the biggest song in the world. Other than the few bigger songs on the album I think that this is a less hyped version of the previous album and fails to deliver as a whole. Top songs ‘Black Beatles’ ft Gucci Mane ‘Swang’”
