Nevermind
“The album that brought grunge to the mainstream and defined a generation.”
Nevermind
“When Nevermind exploded into earshot in the autumn of 1991, it was startling: a grenade detonating in your car radio. It sounded like the end of something (the 1980s? hair metal?), or maybe the beginning of something ("alternative rock"? "Generation X"?). Today, the album has become so encrusted with myth, that it’s hard to wrap […]”
In Utero (20th Anniversary Edition)
“The 20th anniversary reissue of Nirvana’s third LP includes a remastered version of the original mix, B-sides, outtakes, and a slew of embryonic demos, along with a new mix overseen by Steve Albini. Taken together, the set’s vitality puts lie to the notion that In Utero was the soundtrack to a suicide, commercial or otherwise.”
In Utero (20th Anniversary Edition)
“**💭 Thoughts:** Nirvana’s third and final studio album *In Utero* is like they took their second album, *Nevermind*, and cranked the heaviness up without losing what made it so memorable. The riffs hit hard still, the sound feels more aggressive, and the overall intensity is turned up in the best way possible. Amazing album. **🎶 Tracklist Review** 1.) Serve the Servants 🔵🥇 2.) Bleach (Deluxe Edition)
“**💭 Thoughts:** Nirvana’s 1983 debut *Bleach* captures the band while they’re still finding their sound, simultaneously being their most raw and unfiltered album within their discography. While it’s rough around the edges, that unpolished sound is what gives the album its vibe, however, it’s definitely not for everyone. **🎶 Tracklist Review** 1.) Blew 🔵 2.) Floyd the Barber 🟢 3.) Nevermind
“**💭 Thoughts:** The album that popularized grunge with its simplistic yet iconic riffs. This is one of those albums that basically any one of any age or background knows at least one or more songs from. It’s without a doubt an iconic and masterfully crafted record. **🎶 Tracklist Review** 1.) Smells Like Teen Spirit 🔵 2.) In Bloom 🔵 3.) Come As You Are 🔵 4.) Breed 🟢 5.) Lithium 🔵🥈 6.) Polly 🟢 7.)
