“This album is a hard listen, in an artistical way. Production wise and the feeling of the music he aimed for, he did more than convince me. It sounds so depressing and negative, because Devon Hendryx (Barrington Hendricks) was truly at the edge. He was depressed, sexually confused, had military trauma while still being stationed in Japan, it was a concoction of what would corrode the confident and talented alias of Devon Hendryx. As this album would be (chronologically) the last to come out of the stage name. This album is LITTERED with depressing lyrics, calls to suicide (but saying he’s too much of a coward to do so), and porn samples… lots of those for sure. But production wise Is like a dystopian wrap up of what Devon Hendryx came to be, some tracks literally will rip songs from the past, some lyrics calling back to previous tracks like Montebello Highschool prom. But the new element to all of this is like being in a dark room with constant negative thoughts while that soulful and confident version of what used to be the heart of all of Devon’s projects… now just a hazy memory of the past while you sit and just fantasize about women while simultaneously being on the edge of your life. Is this album good? YES, very good… would I give caution to this album? Yes. Definitely. If you’re already in a bad mood, this is unwanted negative energy. View this album with caution.”

“I never thought I’d get to see a Devon Hendryx album drop. But it happened. And I’m super happy I was able to. There wasn’t even a rollout for this. It just dropped. This album just seems to be a bunch of unreleased tracks thrown in a long compilation of JPEGMAFIAs time in the military. Ranging from tracks in. 2009 and 2014. I don’t mind it. It’s just more of a compilation than an album. I’m just super happy we got Devon Hendryx content in the 26. And I think that’s what JPEG aimed for since his new EXPERIMENTAL RAP album under performed. Regardless. There are some bangers on here. But not a properly sequenced and detailed tracklist. Just some unused goodies.”

“Half of these tracks are literally 30 seconds to a minute long while Satan is literally just the instrumental from Omega weapon with a few changes. Charli Baltimore and pizzicato five are the true standouts. And pizzicato five is from ghost pop… so what’s the point?”
