“Motor Nighttime World 3 is less funky than Hood's earlier, revered works, but it relies on the same blueprints: spartan rhythmic patterns, no fat, no showboating. Big and contemplative, Motor is based on the cautionary tale of Detroit, but it can't help but find some beauty in the wreckage.”
