“Pluto settles for a familiar formula that highlights his growing artistic complacency”
“One of the most interesting rappers alive dives deeper and works up an idiosyncratic mix that will please longtime fans — but the results aren’t as satisfying as you’d hope”

“Fifteen years into his career, Future reckons with the blurry line between truth and persona and loses touch with the vulnerability that made his best work so enduring.”

“Project: #036 of 2026 reviewed projects Title: The Real Me Artist: Future Future returns from WE STILL DON'T TRUST YOU with The Real Me, and it is a hugely dissapointing release. The album is riddled with inconsistency, with some really REALLY low and unpalatable tracks, such as 2018 and Build a B***h, and gaps filled with either really high and enjoyable tracks or really boring mediocre tracks. It feels like a contract-obligatory release, as if it were made to simply fill the requirements of a label to get out of it, it is filled with bloat and feels incredibly directionless along that. FAVOURITES: Radio, Fukk A Interview, Big Moment, No Misery LEAST FAVOURITES: 2018, Build a B***h, Konnichiwa, One Two, If I Could Simplified Rating: 5/10”
“Pretty solid album, very toxic and very Future.”
