“The definition of 'really nice' Twoism has this really warm, fuzzy flare to it (much like most other Boards of Canada records) that has this extremely unique VHS-tinted vibe where everything feels a bit warped, nostalgic, and like a blurry childhood memory that feels comforting. Boards of Canada aren't always necessarily background music, considering tracks like Basefree which have a slightly more deliberate punch probably wouldn't be put on while studying or trying to relax in general. But their debut digitally-released record is really smooth, and much like drinking smooth orange juice which I can't help but associate this EP with - it just goes down really well.
