“There are surprisingly not many people that know about or speak about this album (which is sad) but you have to be living under a rock to have never at least heard Daydream In Blue.
If you have heard of this album on the other hand and are an enjoyer of I Monster, then I love you.
It's also similar to Demon Days in a sense, so if you liked that then you'd probably like this (it was actually what inspired me to write this review).
The whole album from start to finish feels like it's glistening in the sun at the other side of the rainbow in such a romantic, yet rebellious way of sorts that simply makes for an experience of true ear candy to say the least.
It's also really haunting at times too, with tracks like 'Who Is She' and 'Sunny Delights' which utilise the Reese bass in an instantly iconic way that gives it a whole new meaning within the Electronic scene - which most definitely the rest of the album does.
Top 3 Standouts:
- I'm a Cowboy (on the vinyl tracklist)
- The Weather
- Sunny Delights”
