“**💭 Thoughts:** I love it when the cover art portrays exactly what the project itself sounds like, and for Slaughter to Prevail’s 2016 debut EP *Chapters of Misery*, they manage to do exactly that. This is a solid EP from start to finish—whether it be the cinematic, ominous guitar hooks or the guttural Russian and English vocals. The only major issue is that a lot of the tracks sound very similar, even despite being 26 minutes long.
