Honestly I underestimated it, and returning to it after my first listen (which was my first impression of Denzel Curry ever.) and this is a great opening to a new group. I’m all for more groups of rappers than one independent artist after another. I love the overall sound of the album. Nothing crazy, but the super secret formula of Denzel’s consistency. It becomes once again - from atleast from I heard (ii) and other reviewers and peers. That this is another consistently good or great project of his. If this is just a taste of what he has let alone and entire group? I’m hype. Overall, a very good little 20 minute album. But nothing that screams ‘wow I’m looping this for an hour’.”
