He had already been making this switch with his last couple of projects but this was his real shot at it. I actually quite enjoyed the first half and didn’t understand much of the hate i was seeing on the album. Then the second half hit. I could go far enough to say that his sound reminds me a lot of Dom Corleo on his album “OMO”. I’d even say Dom did it better. i’d say a select few of his features actually outdid him on their songs together. “Face the Flamë” was a bit toneless until Younboy came on. I don’t enjoy NBA Younboys music too much but he saved that song with his verse. Another example of this was Julia Wolf on “My Way”. Her part in this piece was just a small intro but it had me thinking the song was promising but then yeat disappointed me with what he did. The song was alright but it could’ve been a lot better if he included her more and in my opinion would’ve made it one of the best songs on this album. The whole second half after a great song on this album, “Let The King Talk”, really disappointed me and in the middle of all that “My Time” snuck up on me and i really enjoyed that track. This was a decent album.”
“- juuuunge diese 1. hook kommt soooo gefährlich - seine vocals harmonieren mega krank mit dem groove des beats - schon manchma crazy flow passagen aber iwie hat er son bisschen seine manische genialität verloren.. - iwie sind da viele trys iwie cringe, früher hat er jede lücke mit einem grazy ad lib gefüllt haha - das klingt iwie so richtig drake-ifiziert - seit wann refert er to himself als tonka 🤣🤣 - bro ist halt 50% ad libs, diese balance aus words + animal-like ad libs hat es auf den vorherigen tapes ausgemacht - boah no more ghosts ist so cringe 😴 - okay 2nite ist lowkey krank wieder haha er is so ne mixed bag ey - naked eig nice idee vom instrumental aber iwie find ich die lyrix manchma zu billig (& dafür nicht alien like genug geflowet um es wett zu machen haha) - im in love with everything sample geht harrrrd!!!! - went wrong sehr nice konstellation mit 070 - man ich hab kb mehr… höre danach direkt up 2 me um diese leider etwas enttäuschende experience auszugleichen…”
“Reviewing 2026 projects: Project: #007 Title: ADL Artist: Yeat Very, very weak album. This album does have some highs, such as the Julia Wolf intro on "My Way", a couple of the outros on most songs, work with the synths and leads, some decent mixes, and the Kid Cudi feature on "NO MORE GHOSTS". Other than that it's a combination of really poor lyricism and often generic production. Simplified rating: 4/10”
