I respect that, but only if you know the difference between genuinely good different, and trying too hard to be different and ending up making something unlistenable, and also being a lab combination of a bunch of other artists. There are some decent moments, but matt's vocal performances just ruin it, as well as random insane ear drum assault parts in each song just to make sure you can never listen to this safely. Overall it just sounds really unprofessional, messy, hard to listen to and just low quality and effort. “all over the place in the best way possible. i think matt proxy has a bright future. also has some really weird features on it like grimes and current joys but for some reason they just make sense. also, there were some really cool samples used on this. i would get excited going to the spotify dna after each song to see the sample.”
