“While it is a slight improvement over The Melodic Blue, Baby Keem's sophomore album is still kind of underwhelming after such a long wait.”

“Worth the wait? Baby Keems most personal album to date, ‘Ca$ino’ is an 11 song tracklist consisting of heavy heartfelt cuts spaced out by, even heavier triumphant horn bangers all reflecting on his upbringing and personal struggles endured in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Keem delivers in a new ways than in his in his debut LP “The Melodic Blue” with bolder, more in your face production as well as vocal inflections, as seen on “Circus Circus Freestyle”. Baby Keem also explores the deeper side of his vocal range on tracks such as, “I am not a lyricist” where he, respectively, almost eerily resembles the great Andre 3000, and the track is then carried out with a more melodic soulful outro. Overall, the highs & lows Im feeling for this album are: Highs: No Security into Ca$ino, The somber sounding sample on ‘No Security’ that leads into ‘Ca$ino’ with a beautiful transition of casino noises could have easily been one song had the artist desired. If these two were one song it would be one of my favorite 6+ minute song tracks in quite some time. However these songs are highs on the album in their own, I recommend playing them together. Good Flirts (Ft. Momo Boyd & Kendrick Lamar) “Momo Boyd is the Best feature on Ca$ino” - sincerely me. Kendrick Lamars verse is very fitting on the song, and verse does not lack quality despite what many tik tok experts may think. Lows: Highway 95 pt 2: Maybe it will grow over time. While the song did not lack topic or emotional value to the album, the repetitiveness and tone Baby Keem brings to this track is just not for me. The last minute of ‘Circus Circus Freestyle’: Why. Overall Im feeling about an 8.1 on this. What are you feeling? Remember its only been a couple days. Who knows how we feel later! Be kind. Peace”
“Ca$ino is a closure to his truama for Baby Keem. A lot of the subjects are about his Mother never being present and his uncle being addicted to drugs . Growing up as a troubled child and running away. He ends up coming to a resolution to all of this. His flow is fast and addictive. Some of the best rapping from Baby Keem in my opinion. The production is also very polished, especially in songs like Ca$ino, $ex Appeal and Highway 95 Pt.2 The flaws is that it feels undercooked at some times, and that the project is a little short, I enjoyed it to its full length but it totally could’ve been longer and could’ve been better to him coming to conclusions with his trauma. Otherwise pretty damn good project. I enjoyed it.”
“It’s unfair to review albums after only one listen. That’s why this review is out on a Sunday, and not Friday. Baby Keem returns after years of silence and drops an album that surprised me in a ton of different ways. Keem went a different direction with this one, experimenting with the pop-rap genre in a few songs and getting away from more traditional trap beats. I was displeased with how short this album was however. I think the features were nothing to write home about aside from Too $hort on $ex Appeal, which turned out to be my favorite song so far. Overall this album lacks in length, certain elements of lyrics, but it was great to hear another from Baby Keem Semi-Approved”
“This album is a significant jump for Baby Keem since the melodic blue. The concise track list tightened and extremely creative production to even the variability in Keen’s voice and song writing. Keem has improved a lot and despite the title “I am not a lyricist” he has so many more personal songs mixed with his classic charismatic hard hitting songs we expect from Keem. The features were for the most part pretyy solid “Too $hort” being the standout.”
“Reviewing 2026 projects: Project: #005 Title: Ca$ino Artist: Baby Keem Simple but nice LP. The production feels more like a very simple yet somewhat vintage addition to the whole album. I don't have many issues with this album, Birds & the Bees, Good Flirts and $ex Appeal just ruin it for me FAVOURITES: No Security, I am not a Lyricist. LEAST FAVOURITES: Birds & The Bees Simplified rating: 7/10”
“Definitely Keems best album to date. Super easy listen & doesn’t drag on due to the length of the album. Very good start to the album with a good 4 song run. Think Keem still has yet to find his best style but there’s a lot of good on this album. Top songs on the album are “Ca$ino” “Good Flirts” “$ex Appeal””
“pretty meh imo. i did see baby keem in concert recently and it was great but listening to this on its own without that crowd/vibe kinda makes it less special. definitely was not worth the 5 year wait haha. also i can’t figure out if birds & the bees is a bad or a good song. it’s so stupid but so catchy lmao.”
“Very solid album I come back to a lot of songs but there are a couple skips in here right now. Still I enjoyed the experience of this album rollout and a lot of good memories come with the album!”
