“**💭 Thoughts:** Hair metal outfit Def Leppard’s 1983 studio album *Pyromania* is their first album with guitarist Phil Collen, marking a major shift in the band’s career toward a more melodic, polished, and, in my opinion, better sound. It’s an exceptional, consistent record from start to finish, with many iconic songs that reflect the greatness of the hard rock/hair metal scene during the 1980s.
