βAn album that speaks less of destiny and more about a restless energy to create and exploreβ
βFans of Radioheadβs 1993 single "Creep" basically divided into two camps: those who loved it as a dynamic slice of self-loathing rock & roll, and those who just enjoyed the skrakunk-skrakunk guitar distortion before every chorus. On their later albums, Radiohead would throw their lot in with the skrakunk-skrakunk crowd, pushing the boundaries of sonic [β¦]β
β**π Thoughts:** *The Bends* is groundbreaking alt-rock outfit Radioheadβs second album, released in 1995. This album is what put the band in the spotlight with its dynamic songwriting and more atmospheric feel compared to their debut. I wouldnβt call this their best album, but itβs definitely among some of their strongest. **πΆ Tracklist Review** 1.) Planet Telex π’ 2.) The Bends π΅π₯ 3.) High and Dry π’ 4.) βThis album is what put them on the map and I completely understand why, from the amazing vocals to the outstanding performances by the other members of the band I can understand itβs important but comparing to other works by them and other bands itβs just not up to par with their best and the best of many othersβ
βThis album includes all of the aspects of traditional rock, but puts a Radiohead twist on it. Fake Plastic Trees is a masterpiece and is one of the best written Radiohead songs. This is a must listen album for any rock fan.β
βOnly thing is the songs were a little too similar and some felt like they were gonna hit the climax but didnβt and felt incomplete but thatβs minimal bc they r still incredibleβ
βThis album is really great, and I get why it put them on the map. I canβt say I enjoy it that much more than a lot of the other stuff coming out around this time though.β
βperfecto, my iron lung es magia me siento como bien chill y asΓ asΓβ
